As I sit here reflecting on Adam and Cameron's wedding, I am overwhelmed with emotions. Their decision to combine the intimacy of an elopement styled photoshoot in Yosemite National Park with the grandeur of a traditional wedding celebration truly highlights the depth of their love and commitment to each other. As a photographer, capturing the essence of love in its purest form is the ultimate goal. Adam and Cameron's wedding was a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and celebration of love with family and friends.

The day before their wedding was a whirlwind of emotions and breathtaking moments. Waking up at 3am to head into the park to witness the sunrise at Glacier Point a was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you haven't seen it yet, put it at the top of your to-do list! The golden hues of the sun painting the sky with its brushstrokes and the misty air enveloping us in a warm embrace - it was a moment that brought tears to my eyes and will forever be etched in my memory. We then made our way to the valley for more photos, capturing the majestic waterfalls and lush greenery of the park. The love between Adam and Cameron was palpable in every shot, and it was an honor to be able to freeze those precious moments in time for them. After a day of exploring waterfalls and majestic views, we all parted ways to prepare for the big day ahead.
On the day of the wedding, the excitement and anticipation were palpable as Adam and Cameron got ready in their respective suits. The contrast of Adam's custom off-white suit designed by Glaudi- by Johanna Hernendez against Cameron's Hockerty rust orange suit perfectly complemented the natural green pine trees surrounding the venue, creating a stunning visual effect that was simply breathtaking. The couple chose to get married at The Lodge at Two Moons in Oakhurst California. This venue is a short 35 minute drive from the south entrance of the park and comes with a grand wood cabin feel house that you and a small handful of friends/family can stay at and celebrate the weekend.
The simplicity and intimacy of their ceremony mirrored the profound connection between Adam and Cameron. The ceremony was personal with the couple exchanging vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. They did a unity ceremony by adding soil to an olive tree. I love that idea because an olive tree means peace. So every time they have a disagreement, they can just look at that olive tree that grows in their home every day and remember that they both are meant to be a team in this wild and crazy world. The love and support in the air was almost tangible, filling the space with warmth and joy. The ceremony was simple, personal and intimate. It was officiated by Michael who owns Truluxe Events who also did all of the planning and coordination for the entire wedding. Michael and his team did a fantastic job!

The reception was beautiful set up and not in the normal rectangle tables or the circle tables. The tables were in a zig zag formation and each table was the name of a national park. Of course the head table that Adam and Cameron were sitting at was Yosemite. There were stations of goodies for the guests to visit. Blankets with custom tags to keep everyone warm, a photobooth area, a table to remember loved ones that are attending in spirit and a fun audio guest book. Everyone, including my team and I, danced the night away and enjoyed the late night gelato cart.
Witnessing their love and joy throughout the day reaffirmed my belief in the power of love and the beauty of marriage. Adam and Cameron's wedding was not just a job for me, it was a transformative experience that deepened my connection to them as individuals and as a couple.
